Inactive WeBOC User IDs switched off on 11 November 2026: what customs agents should check

Written 5 November 2026. The Pakistan Single Window (PSW) homepage carries an undated notice, read on 5 November 2026, headed "Notice: Deactivation of Inactive WeBOC User IDs". It names customs agents directly, and the change it announces is permanent and takes effect on 11 November 2026.

What the notice says

"All inactive WeBOC User IDs linked to active PSW Subscriptions will be permanently deactivated effective 11 November 2026. Traders, Customs Agents, and Shipping Agents are advised to use their PSW IDs for all operational activities and maintain active subscriptions to avoid disruption."

That is the whole notice. Read it closely:

  • It applies to inactive WeBOC User IDs linked to active PSW Subscriptions. It does not say every WeBOC ID is being switched off, and it does not define how long an ID must go unused to count as "inactive".
  • The deactivation is permanent, from 11 November 2026.
  • It names three groups: traders, customs agents and shipping agents. PSW advises them to use their PSW IDs for all operational activities and to keep their subscriptions active.

For the background on how WeBOC is being replaced, see our earlier piece on the new customs digital management system. This post covers only the ID deactivation.

What to check in your agency before 11 November

  • Who still signs in with a WeBOC User ID? Ask everyone in the office who files or follows up on GDs which ID they use day to day. Anyone using an old WeBOC ID out of habit should move to their PSW ID now, not on the day it stops working.
  • Is your PSW subscription active? The notice ties continued use to "active subscriptions". Confirm the status and renewal date for each subscription your agency relies on.
  • Is anything still set up around the old ID? Saved logins, written procedures or a shared desk computer may still point at a WeBOC ID. Update them while you can still compare the two.
  • Do your clients know? The notice also names traders. Importers and exporters who sign in themselves may want a short reminder from you.

Also on PSW's homepage: maintenance on 8 November

The same announcements panel says that "as part of scheduled maintenance, some services will be temporarily unavailable on Sunday, 8th November 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM." It gives the support line as (021) 111 111 779, available 24/7.

Read from the Pakistan Single Window homepage (psw.gov.pk) on 5 November 2026. The notice carries no posting date; the only date in it is the effective date. This is general information, not legal advice. If you are unsure which ID or subscription applies to you, ask PSW support.
