The sales tax summary, month by month. August: eighteen jobs, nine hundred and twenty-three thousand five hundred in service charges, and one hundred and sixty-six thousand two hundred and thirty rupees of sales tax.
These figures come from the jobs themselves and are never entered a second time — which is why the return and the files never disagree.
Withholding tax certificates are kept separately, with their section and rate, so the tax your client deducted is not lost.
